The free, flexible curriculum consists of 12 units that use real-world tools, simulations, and games. There are two off-the-shelf courses: Personal Finance and Entrepreneurial Finance. Both courses can be assigned asynchronously (self-paced) and synchronously (guided).
Guided content provides a synchronous learning opportunity. Educators guide learners through lessons and activities together in class. These lessons can be adapted to best fit your needs.
Self-paced provides asynchronous learning opportunities. Educators assign lessons and activities for students to complete at their own pace.
There are currently 43 self-paced lessons, which add up to over 50 hours of asynchronous content. There are also 89 guided lessons in addition to optional homework assignments.
You can view our entire curriculum on our website.
At the moment, our curriculum is only available in English. However, we are working to bring a full Spanish translation to you soon.

Each module provides an estimated time of completion, but you can choose what to include from each lesson to best fit your schedule.
Answer keys are only available for guided content. We’re working on automating the process of getting verified to access these.
For now, please email education@intuit.com from your school assigned email and include:

The Intuit Personal Finance certification for high school students is available through Certiport. It includes a proctored exam that’s curriculum-agnostic and developed by an accredited board. The exam is 50 minutes long and consists of about 40 questions. The exam helps validate students' understanding of personal finance foundations, preparing them for financial success in the future.
Individuals pursuing this certification should demonstrate a solid understanding of key personal finance concepts such as earning income, spending, budgeting, saving, managing risk, and managing credit.
While Intuit for Education is free, the Intuit Personal Finance certification is managed through an accredited external partner, Certiport. Certiport includes a fee or site license for students interested in the certification. If you plan to have over 35 students take the certification in the year, we recommend a site license. This typically runs around $3,500 and includes a practice test and the ability to retake the exam. Otherwise, individual exams, practice tests, and a retake run just over $100 ($103).
