QuickBooks Support for education

The license won’t expire as long as an educator meets Intuit's eligibility requirements. QuickBooks Online for students is a 1-year trial.

You will need to register with Intuit. Visit this page to complete the registration form.

After completing registration, you can access QuickBooks Online Educator Portal within 20 minutes.

Product updates happen all the time and roll out slowly to all, so sometimes a student or educator may see something different. If you have concerns about discrepancies, please contact us at education@intuit.com.

As an educator you will have access to QuickBooks Online Educator Portal which is where you can access your students files once they are set up.

The QuickBooks Educator portal allows you manage all of your students, classrooms, and assignments in one place. Teachers use the Educator Portal to manage student access to QuickBooks as well. For more information, check out the QuickBooks Educator Portal video.

With QuickBooks Online, students receive a cloud-based account that can be accessed on any computer or smartphone with an internet connection. Students who share devices with other students or family members can easily and securely access their QuickBooks Online account by logging in and out at their discretion.

QuickBooks Online Plus is a 12-month trial. 

If you need access to QuickBooks Online, please reach out to your instructor as they will have to send you an invite.

If you didn't receive an email, check your Spam folder. You can search for an email from Intuit Verification Verify@SheerID.com. If you still are not able to find it, email us at education@intuit.com for help.

To make sure you have the latest and greatest features, QuickBooks Online updates approximately every 6 weeks. You may experience slight changes to your software when new features are rolled out.

To see your students QuickBooks, you will have to access to their company through the educator portal

As an educator, you can reset your demo company. As a student, your educator will need to invite you to a new QuickBooks company.

From your educator portal, you can remove the class under the "class actions" in the middle right hand side of your screen.
