Guidelines for Service of Legal Process
This page provides some guidelines for the service of subpoenas, summonses, search warrants, preservation requests, and court orders (collectively referred to below as a “legal process”) on Intuit and its subsidiaries.
Please note that Intuit responds only to valid legal process issued in compliance with applicable law.
How to Serve Legal Process Inside the U.S.
U.S. law enforcement and regulatory agencies
Intuit accepts service of legal process from federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, courts and regulatory agencies in the United States through its registered agent, Corporation Service Company (CSC). Legal process may be served at the following address:
Intuit Inc.
c/o Corporation Service Company (CSC)
251 Little Falls Drive
Wilmington, DE 19808
It is Intuit’s practice not to accept requests sent via email or mail to Intuit Inc.’s headquarters or any other Intuit office locations, unless allowed by the laws, rules or regulations governing your legal request. Please note that service made by means other than CSC may not be handled efficiently.
Intuit reserves the right to object to any process it receives, including but not limited to overbroad and/or burdensome requests.
Civil Actions
Legal process for civil matters must be made pursuant to the rules applicable to the jurisdiction in which the matter is pending. Civil subpoenas issued from state courts outside of California should be properly domesticated in California. Once a matter has been properly domesticated in California, it may be served at the following address:
Intuit Inc.
c/o Corporation Service Company (CSC)
2710 Gateway Oaks Drive
Suite 150N
Sacramento, CA 95833
