The rise in COVID-19 cases in India is alarming. Intuit has a strong and vibrant workforce in India and we recognize how difficult this is for employees and their families – and the nation as a whole. We have a team of people working around the clock to provide resources and care directly to our employees and their families as their health and well-being is our top priority. Intuit will support with benefits resources and any hardship requests for employees and their families, including crisis support, tele-consultation with doctors and home quarantine support. We will also provide reimbursement to employees for vaccines, and are also strongly encouraging our employees in India to use available paid time off benefits to care for themselves and their families over the coming weeks.
In addition to helping our employees, Intuit is donating to GiveIndia, a non-profit organization that is helping underprivileged and vulnerable communities cope with the virus by providing hygiene kits, and basic necessities; and to Akshaya Patra’s Happiness Kit program, which distributes essential groceries, stationery and hygiene products. We are also doubling donations made through our employee giving campaign, which is part of our We Care and Give Back program.
Our hearts go out to our teams in India and anyone with a loved one in India.
