For over 40 years, Intuit has worked to find new, innovative ways that technology can solve our customers’ most important financial problems. In this era of artificial intelligence, our global AI-driven expert platform strategy will revolutionize the customer experiences we deliver around the globe.

To realize the opportunity in front of us, we must continue to evolve our commercial strategy to go to market as a platform, embracing AI to better understand our customers, personalize their journeys, and optimize our campaigns.

Intuit has hired Thomas Ranese as Chief Marketing Officer to help us achieve these ambitions. Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, Greg Johnson, Thomas will lead all aspects of marketing the Intuit brand, including strategy, go-to-market plans, sponsorships, communications, and corporate responsibility.

A veteran of Google and Uber, Thomas is a seasoned marketing executive and brand builder with over 25 years of experience. He has an impressive legacy of scaling businesses, aligning strategy with creative vision, and driving revenue growth. Most recently, he served as CMO of Chobani, where he focused on brand building and consumer engagement.

Thomas is more than just a marketing expert. He’s a committed advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and he has a strong history of social impact leadership. And, he’s passionate about small businesses, having grown up working in his dad’s pasta shop on Long Island.

Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University. He also serves on the boards of Global Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), the LGBTQ+ Victory Campaign Fund, and the healthcare nonprofit Altarum.
