At Intuit, our greatest strength is our people. As part of our Workplace of the Future Strategy we shared that in order to power prosperity around the world and deliver the best experiences for our customers, we need to remain focused on attracting and retaining diverse, top talent. Great talent is what fuels our ability to innovate, to reimagine, and to reinvent for our customers. Today we operate more than 20 offices around the globe known for their innovation and technical capabilities, including geographies such as Mountain View, San Diego, Bangalore, Tel Aviv and Toronto.
We believe expanding to new geographies is critical to increase our ability to source, attract, and retain diverse, top talent. We know diversity of ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds is a critical enabler of innovation. To deliver for our customers, we seek to foster a workforce that is as diverse as the communities we serve. To understand our customers’ needs we need to reflect that diversity on the inside. What’s more: it’s part of who we are, what we value, and something that enables our employees to do the best work of their lives.
Our first new talent hub will be in New York City with plans to expand to new locations around the world. New York has a vibrant technology ecosystem – and many of the leading tech companies are already employing thousands there, including: engineers, product managers, designers and other critical business roles. The number of technical roles have grown substantially over the last decade and continue to grow. This is a testament to the great talent the greater New York area has to offer.
We’re thrilled about this new chapter and the impact it will have on our company, employees and customers. We look forward to becoming part of the vibrant New York tech ecosystem and the New York community at large.
