The World 50 Group recognized the Intuit IDEAS program as “Highly Commended” in its Excellence category for its prestigious World 50 Impact Awards. The World 50 Impact Awards honors those who drive meaningful change, and demonstrate the undeniable connection between inclusive leadership and business success.
IDEAS stands for Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate, and Scale, and Intuit IDEAS is at the heart of Intuit’s mission to power prosperity for the customers and communities it serves. By investing in this initiative, Intuit is not only helping individual businesses, but also contributing to the overall vitality of our communities.
According to the World 50 Group, an organization of CEOs, board members, and executives, the World 50 Impact Awards “celebrates an organization that has showcased true excellence in embedding inclusivity and belonging into its DNA, providing a benchmark for others to aspire to, and offering clear evidence of improvement.”
Intuit IDEAS aims to improve the success rate of small businesses in local communities across the nation. The program offers small business owners complimentary access to Intuit’s AI-driven expert platform including QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Credit Karma, and TurboTax, and human experts. It also provides access to executive coaches through Zella Life, and business counselors through the Urban League.
As a result of participating in the program, small business owners are boosting their revenue by an average of 23% and saving 16.5 hours monthly, enabling them to focus on growing their businesses and making a bigger impact in their communities.
“We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to prosper and Intuit’s initiative to provide resources to entrepreneurs is designed to do exactly that,” said Sacha Adam, Vice President of Intuit Assist & Expert Experiences at Intuit. “We’re honored to receive the World 50 Group’s commendation. It is a testament to how the Intuit IDEAS program strives to improve the success rate of small businesses in our local communities.”
Apryl Stewart, owner of Skyview Concessions, Inc., was part of the first cohort of businesses to participate in—and benefit from—the Intuit IDEAS program. She said, “The IDEAS program has had an immediate impact on my business… enhancing my financial literacy [and] helping me to make decisions for my business as I’m looking to level up.”
Judges who voted on the World 50 Award included leaders from companies such as AstraZeneca, BestBuy, Cisco, Google, KPMG, and Warner Bros.
“Intuit IDEAS is making a real and substantive impact in the lives and communities it serves,” said Derrick Plummer, Director, Public Affairs Communications for Intuit. “We’re pleased this unique and groundbreaking program has surpassed our initial aims, and we’re excited about what’s in store for future Intuit IDEAS small business owners.”
