Wolf Paulus, Principal Engineer for Intuit Futures, is an internationally experienced technologist and innovator, focusing on embedded, conversational, and X Reality technologies. He helps to accelerate the discovery and adoption of emerging technologies. Far beyond voice and conversational user interfaces (VUI/CUI), speech recognition and synthesis, and natural language understanding, he currently explores how to automate empathy using sentiment analysis, speech synthesis, and empathetic dialogue design to match customers' emotions to provide best-in-class experiences.
Before joining Intuit, he was responsible for developing strategies and architecting solutions, to deliver a compelling mobile print experience for HP, and a Distinguished Engineer at Motorola Mobility, where he worked on the Google Android platform.
Wolf is appointed to the advisory committee at the University of California, Irvine, and occasionally speaks at conferences and user groups on topics ranging from Physical Computing to Emotional Prosody.
